Soothing sounds, cave environment feels natural, I love it~

Gotta love those serious faced kids, all of the story is very clear deliver the serum, but many things are a real mystery... it's a mix of a horror and spiced with sarcastic humour, I felt like a zombie myself trying to finish the game, lol )

I wondered who created this game on y8 and now I see it's a NoRabbit P.S I'm Cedangar
What a great game, reminded me of the good'old times when playing similar, but quite older one's.
This one however doesn't have the same rules, more of a think before act type.

NoRabbit responds:

Hey hey :) I saw your scores, it's pretty good. I'm gonna have to beat you :)
Yeah I'm using different rules somehow as I didn't want to have bosses on every level like Ultimate Qix or Volfied, or make it too easy. I don't like when it's too easy.

Also I discovered why they actually made their game taller than larger... to prevent trying to cut it in half straight from the beginning... that made me have to think of harder levels...

[EDIT]
sorry to say but I'm first again ;)

Playing on Firefox the best Option To Play DropCore!
/\ For now I felt these improvements!
+ Experience Gain Improved a lot
+ More Interesting Inter-Design of the Game
+ Futuristic looking Icons & Feel of the Menu
+ It felt a lot better playing this new Version!
This time I noticed there is Armor regain while not at a Relay Station
+ Regains energy more quickly
+ The Blue Commander is now more Tactical & help a lot on taking out Relays
+ It feels a lot faster !!!
The game Experience is Trippy & Cosmic feel
+ Easier to avoid some projectiles, while moving and shooting back!

DropCore is Challenging it's a good flaw though +
Shooting controls are slow at the start, but ( I saw upgrades that improve it! ) +
You need to play a bit longer to get better on it!

I love your work yc960 & felt like you really passed it on a new level!
Feels great on my Laptop as it brings the chills while playing!

yc960 responds:

Thank you , your feedback means a lot! I am currently still working on some new additions, but I should be able to improve the shooting control for the next update.

I saw this game on many sites it always put a smile on my face when a new Hoplite game comes out! Great work!

This Strategy is great I remember the first version I played on newgrounds I was kinda lost at first, but
since it had so much challenge into it, I enjoyed every second even though I failed at first xD
[Kind of Difficult to manage]
It's difficult to come up with more Index for better stats.( It would be cool to get more every kill)
Since you only get awarded with a skill, some upgrades and exp After a succesful mission.
---The Whole Game Is a Challenge--- Something you don't see much Nowadays this is perfect!

yc960 responds:

Thank you! As with the nature of RTS, I strive for a balance of fair challenge. Regarding the difficulty, what do you find to be extremely hard/unfair/frustrating? Or did you find the game not explaining something that is hindering progress?

Edit: I am currently working on a way to reward exp for kills. Would you like it better if the badge give exp instead of decrees as rewards?

Don't play this game it's too adictive, you'll lose your mind over it :D just sayin...

Wow, cool looking, a bit retro, but hard to beat, that's how games should be made ^^ also looking forward to complete the game! The simplicity of choice really get's you back to the action quick! And the details looks decent, it would be awesome to compete in a multiplayer! Enjoyed it quite good!

SimaGames responds:

Hey thanks for your comment. You can plug in multiple gamepads and try local multiplayer with a friend. :-)

The Journey you created inspired me or should I say addicted me to play more... wow I never thought I'll remember those moments when I loved pixel games so much... even more than anything else right now ^,...,^
The in game characters actually felt real and the stories left in the necromancers secret rooms made me feel the contrast of a real accident from the very start, it felt real.
I see you really put your whole fantasy into it as I felt your energy, that was really supposed to addict a good way in fact I loved it!

So, the first thing that was important is transmute, I found all the hidden chambers 7 of them as I remember, and when reaching the final level I was like Wow did I reached the end? Is there gonna be a demon that I heard about? The town had 19 killed this month so I guess I had to wait for 24? Just killed the Necromancer and achieved a "Hero's sword" ^^

Loved the pixel work on every aspect, the simple design and the ability to chose between actions which are rare in strategy games nowadays. Not too time consuming and actually a joy to try out and achieve victory for greater peace! I believe there was great emperors seeking for it, but mostly fame & glory. A really magnificent art of buildings as statues and monuments. As for personal record:
I reached victory in Turns: 32 Roman loss 95.008 units/ 0 ships, Enemy losses 21.4946 units/ 10 ships
Dunno why the enemy loss number is separated with a comma like this... but well It was an awesome experience! Thanks to you Hoplite Games! ^^

Gamer with a nick 'Cedangar' may as well see me elsewhere, like getting perfect games on Steam or playing Warframe. Did Art school long ago, still keeping the best work out-off Public.
